4/5/2019 Fatty fish healthy or not?

I know that over the years fatty fish like tuna and salmon have been promoted as healthy foods.

We all know that fish live in the sea however lot of things have changed in this space which is not exactly common knowledge. It has all become industrialised. Most of the store bought fish now come from - fish farms. A far cry from the freedom and clean waters of the seas, fish farms are intensive operations. The fish are literally on top of each other and their food is not plankton or smaller species but feed pellets.

The intensive nature of the operations gives rise to deseases and many drugs and chemicals are used to try to keep them at bay. As you will see they literally dump hundreds of liters of antibiotics into the water be it rivers or netted off sea.

Their feed have been implicated in serious toxic outcomes. Just recently, I have come across explosive information about just how toxic these fish have become.

I would suggest that if you eat fish and wish continue to stay healthy, this is very important viewing.

And another thing. Since April 2019, Australian government has discontinued the claimability of Natural Therapies (your health insurance should have written to you about this by now).

This is hugely unfair as you pay for your private health insurance extras precisely to be able to claim your massage, shiatsu, naturopathy and other therapies.

You CAN do something about this as 150,000+ people have by adding your name to this petition and this petition. Please do.

Warmest wishes
