Like anything in life to make the best of it, it is good to follow some simple points to be prepared.

1) Be well hydrated.

On the day of your massage drink lots of water. Especially in summer and especially so for the more vigorous or deeper treatments. In winter have hot water in the form of soups or teas. Massage releases built up toxins from your skin and your muscles. It is good for your body to be well hydrated so that it can expel these toxins efficiently.

2) Do not eat within an hour

Even better two hours prior to treatment. This is to ensure that your digestive system is not active when you are in treatment. This can result in discomfort whilst you are lying down and inability to relax.DSC0547Infraspin

3) Do not apply any makeup nor tanning lotion

It will only get wiped off or worse smudged.

4) Wear loose and warm (in winter) clothing

so that you can be comfortable and relaxed in and after your treatment. Doing stretching in tight pants is not only restrictive and thus not effective it is also uncomfortable for you. Loose clothes allow you body to relax and breathe so that you get the best out of your therapy session.
